I jokingly say launching my website in 2006 was the closest I’ve come to giving birth. I mean no offense to real mothers, because I’m guessing childbirth isn’t a barrel of laughs. But that’s my analogy for the painstaking process creating and then putting good content on your site can be. An effort well worth the potential outcome.
Now as I wrap the fourth mini update to the site, I try to remember helpful information I’ve gathered along the way. Some from trial and error, nuggets found through research, and key guidance from web content writer Wordsmith Bob. You can find out more about his expertise at www.WordsmithBob.com
I am forever grateful for his help in getting me to think about streamlining information on my website and always making it easy for people to reach me or Roshini Multi Media. He points out the importance of keeping a “blank” link when you connect to other sites…so surfers can return to your site if they leave the site to which they linked. He even made a great marketing move by offering a free website review at no risk. Much of what I saw from his suggestions made me realize I needed his help earlier this year. But his legacy lives on as I use tools he’s shared with me and modeled himself for business owners.
